What Guess The Line is
Guess The Line is a free, private NFL prediction game run by Sean Balsiger for friends and invited players, for entertainment only. By creating an account or using the app you agree to these terms.
Not a sportsbook
Guess The Line is not a sportsbook or gambling service. You cannot place bets, deposit or win money, or receive prizes through the app. Records such as the Betting Challenge and Bet Tracker are kept for fun and do not involve real money in the app. Any arrangement players make among themselves outside the app is their own responsibility and is not part of Guess The Line.
Your account
- Your account is personal. Use your own account, do not share it, and keep your password private.
- Give an email address you can receive mail at, and choose a display name that is not offensive or impersonating someone else.
- You are responsible for the picks, posts and records saved from your account.
Fair play
- Play honestly: no multiple accounts, no attempts to see hidden picks or lines early, and no interfering with the app or other players.
- Be respectful in the community feed and comments.
- The commissioner may settle disputes under the game's published rules and may remove a member from a game or the community. Entries already made stay in the game's record.
Lines, odds and scores
Sportsbook lines, odds, schedules and results are shown for reference and scoring only. They come from third-party sources and may be wrong, delayed or missing. They are not betting advice. Scores follow the game's published rules and the commissioner's rulings.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you post. You allow Guess The Line to store and show it to other players as part of the game, and to keep it in the game's record.
No warranty
The app is provided free and "as is", without warranties of any kind. It may change, be unavailable or stop at any time, and data may occasionally be lost or delayed. To the extent the law allows, Sean Balsiger is not liable for any loss arising from use of the app.
Changes
These terms may change as the game evolves. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date, and continuing to use the app means you accept it.

How player information is handled is described in the Privacy Policy.
